“Prescription drug misuse has reached epidemic levels in the state of Tennessee,” said Kristina Clark, co-developer of the Count It! Lock It! Drop It!™ prescription drug abuse prevention program. “Becoming a CLD community is an easy way to get the conversation started in your area. Opioid addiction can happen to anybody, and raising awareness and being proactive about the issue can be the difference between life and death.”
