Before his addiction, Adam Allmon was no stranger to hard work. In school, the Smith County native was consistently in the top 25 percent of his class and maintained an impressive GPA. However, it all changed when he graduated from high school. What started out as a way to spend time with friends quickly developed into an addictive lifestyle filled with alcohol and drugs.
Although Adam now lives a drug-free life, he sees that many Tennesseans do not. He understands the impact that prescription drug misuse and abuse is having on the community, and wants to do his part to help solve the problem. To watch the full version of Adam’s story, visit our videos section.
