Hey CLD Fam! You probably know, but National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week (NDAFW) is coming up on March 22-28, 2021. In light of this, we decided to to create a few new social media graphics and content to make this week simple for you! These focus on the myths and facts around Alternative Pain Management. We hope you enjoy them! Before we get to how to download those graphics though…
What is National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week? (NDAFW)
NDAFW launched in 2010 by scientists at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). The goal is to stimulate educational events in the communities and teach teens about drug use and addiction. The goal is to counteract the myths about drugs and alcohol that can be found in social media, TV, movies, music or heard by other peers.
When is it?
This years NDAFW is Monday March 22nd – Sunday March 28th
What can you do?
- Host an event Get Activity Ideas | NIDA for Teens (drugabuse.gov) here!
- Debunk myths about alcohol and drugs by sharing statistics and other facts on social media
- Share the Alternative Pain Management graphics and content we made on your Facebook or Instagram page
We will be adding the NDAFW graphics and written content to the Count It! Lock It! Drop It! Dropbox.
Go to the CLD DropBox, Graphics Folder, NDAFW and there you can download the graphics along with an overview of what written content goes with each of these graphics.
If you aren’t a current CLD partner, please email alex.windings@kmclarkcg.com to have all of the content sent to your email.
We’re excited to see what you all do to #ShatterTheMyths this NDAFW!
