With the help of a $1.3 million grant from the BlueCross Health Foundation, the Coffee County Anti-Drug Coalition (CCADC) is expanding its program Count It! Lock It! Drop It!

The program, which focuses on fighting prescription drug abuse, is now going statewide.

The CCADC has been providing free lock boxes to help members of the community keep prescription medications out of the wrong hands. The coalition has also partnered with local law enforcement offices to provide drop-off locations where people can dispose of their unused medications.
