April 29 was National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, with more than 100 take-back events happening across the state. The events, which took place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., provided Tennesseans with a safe and convenient way of ridding their homes of unneeded medicine. Thousands of pounds of pills were collected and disposed of by law enforcement.
