Secure Your Pills Before the Holidays

November 22, 2016 By Alex Windings

During the holiday season, we often welcome family and friends into our homes. Sharing a meal with your loved ones is great, but you don’t want to accidentally share your prescription pills. You can’t keep an eye on everyone, so make sure you take preventive measures to ensure your friends and family stay safe this holiday season.

Here are a few tips for safeguarding your prescription pills during the holidays.

  1. Count your pills.
  2. Purchase a lock box.
  3. Lock up your pills.
  4. Hide your lock box in a safe and secure location.
  5. Get any unused or expired medications out of your home by disposing of them at an area drop box.
